The turbine works even in mild breezes and can work with most wind directions. The turbine's unique design is barely noticeable, unlike competitors.
The turbine is awaiting Microgeneration Certification but has already been chosen as part of scheme to fit 10,000 homes in Holland.
The turbine will work on a pitched roof, is quieter and due to its design, works in standard urban environments.
Although more expensive than traditional rooftop turbines, planners see little problem in approving this unobtrusive design for standard homes.
